The Cotton Western Liner is one of our thinnest pads, incorporated with our trademark ThinLine material which absorbs motion, encourages horses to lift their backs, and helps to develop strength and top-line.

ThinLine is a thin, shock-absorbing non-slip breathable foam.

ThinLine foam is sewn on top of a western cotton liner pad.

Full saddle fitting shims are available for this pad.  These may be used as-is to double your protection or trimmed into pairs of front, bridging, and rear shims to customize your saddle fit.

Not all riders need shims for their pad. Many minor saddle fit issues will be solved with just the ThinLine pad alone.  If you are trying to solve issues such as bridging, filling in behind high withers, or balancing the saddle, to name just a few, ThinLine shims will fix those issues while also providing additional protection.

Cotton Saddle Pad Care Instructions

• Machine wash cold in front loading washer.
• Turn the ThinLine to the inside.
• Spin to remove excess water.
• Hang to dry naturally with no heat source, including sun. Using a fan speeds the drying process.
• If you have a white pad, you may use bleach products such as soft scrub on the ThinLine material as well as using a little bleach in the wash cycle.

All pads come with a one-year full replacement warranty when following our care instructions. When care instructions are followed, our cotton pads are proving to have an expected longevity of 7-8 years.
